94 Taliban militants, 14 troops and 28 civilians have been killed in the past week in fighting in the Swat valley in northwestern Pakistan, the military said on Monday.
"Some 94 militants are killed in the ongoing operation," local military commander Brigadier Zia Anjum Bodla told reporters in Mingora, the main city in Swat.
In another development, eight security force personnel were injured in a bomb attack in Wana of South Waziristan bordering Afghanistan, according to the private Dawn TV.
