历史不是橡皮泥
　　最近一段时间以来，一些西方媒体在集中报道发生在中国西藏的暴力事件时，往往这样介绍西藏的历史背景：“1950年之前西藏是一个独立国家”、“西藏在1951年被中国正式吞并”或者“西藏在中国入侵前享有事实上的独立”。   

　　这些完全错误的“历史介绍”是对历史真实的背叛与无视，是对不了解西藏历史的西方普通读者的恶意误导。  
 
　　事实上，西藏从来就不是一个独立国家，世界上从未有任何一个国家的政府承认过西藏是一个独立国家。自13世纪西藏正式归入中国版图后，西藏就一直是中央政府直接治理下的一个行政区域。   
  
　　《中情局在西藏的秘密战争》一书的作者肯尼思·康博伊近日表示，美国中情局之所以极力掩盖自己扶植西藏叛乱分子、劝诱达赖喇嘛叛逃的秘密行动，正是因为美国政府和西藏从来不存在国与国之间的外交关系。康博伊在书中透露，美国政府直到1949年夏才产生改变西藏问题立场的念头，但1949年12月，美国国务卿艾奇逊还是拒绝了支持西藏加入联合国的意见，继续承认西藏是中国领土的一部分。西藏和平解放后，西方某些人开始鼓噪“西藏是一个独立国家”的奇谈怪论，显然是别有用心的。  

　　历史不是橡皮泥，容不得随意捏造。不讲事实、不负责任的媒体终将遭人唾弃，有良知的媒体应该担负起责任，还历史以本来面目。

History is not the plasticine 
 
At the period of recent time, as some Western media focused to report the violence riot happened in Tibet of China, they usually introduced the background of Tibet as follows: " Tibet was an independent country before 1950"," Tibet was officially took over by China in 1951", or "Tibet had its independence in fact before the invading of China". Those are absolute wrong for " history introduction" which betrayed and ignored the genuine history, which was misled in evil intention to the plain Western reader who had no recognition of Tibet history at all.

In fact, Tibet has never been an independent country which no single country or government in the world has officially recognized as an independent country. Since the time of thirteen century, as Tibet was included as part of China's territory, Tibet had been an administrative area under which had been governed directly by the central government . 
  
The author of the book, " The secret war of CIA", Kenneth Kang  recently expressed: " The reason why CIA was trying to conceal in an endeavour to prop up the insurgent in Tibet, and induced DaLai Buddha to exile, was because that The America had never had the diplomat state relationship with Tibet. Kenneth Kang  revealed in the book until the summer of 1949 The America had the idea to change the stands on Tibet issue, but in December of 1994, Secretary of state in America, Atcheson still declined the opinion to support Tibet into United Nation, continually acknodwledged Tibet as the part of China's territory.

After the peaceful liberation of Tibet, some western people propagandized that , "Tibet was an independent country" with strange theory and absurd argument , that obviously have their ulterior motives. History is not plasticine, it is not fabricated wilfully. The media that didn't tell the truth and take the responsibility, will be spurned by the people. The media with innate knowledge should take the responsibility to return the history in its true appearance.
